New for 2012: Tours of interest within the Heart of England! Keep an eye on our blog!
Heart of Embroidery offers teaching at all levels of hand embroidery, from beginner to advanced. Whatever your experience, don't worry, we have something for you!
Among the subjects we teach are crewelwork, goldwork, silk shading, blackwork, stumpwork, whitework, canvas, applique, beadwork, canvas painting, designing and much more.
We have a wealth of experience (see the 'About' page) and we like to keep class numbers to around 10 students, subject to the technique we are teaching. We will occaisionally have guest teachers to keep our classes fresh and to offer something new, so keep an eye out for these.
We will provide basic equipment and materials and will let you know if you need to bring any additional items specific to your class. If you have a basic sewing kit that includes of a good pair of small embroidery scissors, bring it along.
We aim to provide you with a very high standard of teaching, in a small, friendly, inspiring environment surrounded by like-minded people. We are sure you will love learning as much as we love teaching!
